The funds this year will be used to develop the Hope Dental Center's Training Program. The building that will become Hope Dental Center has been found in Kigali and a deposit has been made. Now the journey to complete funding for the project begins! The HDC Training Program will be the “heart” of the facility. It is here that Rwandan dental residents will be trained in clinical excellence, spiritual maturity, and community & business leadership. The funds raised in this year’s Run for the 1 will be used to provide the equipment and instruments needed to develop this training program before the anticipated launch in the fall of 2024.
​The purpose of HDC is not only to enhance the skills of the next generation of Rwandan dentists, but to disciple leaders who will be strengthened in their walk with Christ, to effectively evangelize as influencers in their communities, and to mentor other dentists. HHOA’s mission has always been to spread the Gospel throughout Rwanda, while helping the country to be self-sufficient. HDC will become the cornerstone of this expansion effort
