THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE DENTAL CARE IN RWANDA
The HOPE Dental Center (HDC) is the center of operations for HHOA's mission to create a sustainable dental care system in Rwanda. This will be accomplished through the many facets of HDC - the financial support from the Sustainable Clinic, newly trained dentists from our Dental Training Program, and dental materials created in our Dental Lab.Year over year, our Dental Training Program will continue to produce Rwandan dentists who will have US-quality dental education. All the while, other efforts like reaching out to the community through outreach and other clinics will continue until we have reach each and every corner of Rwanda!
Dental Training Center
With a severe shortage of dentists in Rwanda, the number of people waiting for proper care is staggering. Hope Dental Center will also include a Training Center that will provide our resident dentists a rich learning experience through hands-on training. Hope Dental Center provides a strategy of multiplication through our Dental Training Center. For every four dentists trained each year in our residency program at the Training Center, we anticipate an additional 12,000 patients served annually. Multiplication of dentists over the years will result in hundreds of thousands receiving services and the message of the Gospel.
Sustainability Clinic
The profits from the Sustainable Clinic will help bring viability to the many dental clinics and outreaches in the villages of His Hands On Africa. Ultimately, internal resources from within Rwanda will need to be leveraged and utilized for growth and expansion of dental clinics and outreach to reach the 14 million Rwandans with quality care and the gospel.

Dental Lab
A critical component to delivering proper dental care is to restore teeth with dental implants, dentures, crowns, etc. Our new Dental Laboratory will contain the state-of-the-art equipment and technology necessary to accurately design and produce these restorations to bring back health and restore smiles to the people of Rwanda.
The Big Dream
With so many in need, we are dreaming big. Not only to create sustainability, but to meet those without access to dental care with an exceptional standard of treatment.
Across Rwanda, there are an estimated 42 dental clinics, many of which are barely operational and limited almost entirely to tooth extractions. Through the Hope Dental Center, we envision graduates equipped with exceptional clinical skills who will step into these communities as leaders and beacons of hope. These clinics will no longer offer only access, but comprehensive care—providing treatments and procedures that most people never imagined were possible.
This is our dream. With each day we come one step closer to see it come to fruition.
