Our Vision
His Hands On Africa (HHOA) believes in equipping communities to achieve sustainability with dignity. To address the lack of dental services, HHOA has identified an approach that is based on fostering relationships with local communities and partnering with Rwandan citizens to invest in their future.
Vision for Widespread Impact
EXPANDING ACCESS TO DENTAL CARE ACROSS RWANDA
Our plan is to expand our reach into every one of the five provinces of Rwanda so we can provide high-quality oral healthcare to Rwandans who never would have received such care. Untreated dental infections can lead to difficulty in eating, swallowing, speaking, and even death. These adverse health conditions are all preventable. As we train & mentor dentists in Rwanda, we envision that they will become architects of change—some enhancing dental clinics in rural areas, others becoming instructors at the HOPE Dental Training Center, and a select few following the inspirational path set by Dr. Lee: answering the call to serve in other African countries, healing, blessing, and sharing the love of Jesus.

Our Impact
With full operations having started in 2020, HHOA has already had a significant impact on Rwandan dental care!

Day after day, the HHOA team works inside the Nyamata hospital, treating dozens of patients. In addition, the HHOA team has weekly outreach trips to rural areas in Rwanda where many people have no access to dental care.
