Dental Mission Director
Kyungmin Jang
Born and raised in a Christian family in South Korea, Kyungmin studied Chemical Engineering at university. During his college years, he received missionary training through YWAM and joined several short-term mission trips, where he felt God’s calling to become a missionary. Although he had a dream to serve through dental missions, the opportunity did not come immediately.
In 2014, he came to Rwanda as a volunteer science teacher for two years. Through that time, God opened the way for him to study dentistry at the University of Rwanda. During that time, he met Dr. Thomas, who was preparing to begin His Hands On Africa’s dental mission in Rwanda. Sharing the same vision and passion, he joined the ministry in 2021 and now serves as the Dental Mission Director.
He lives in Rwanda with his wonderful wife, Minhee, and their two daughters, Celine and Arin, joyfully serving God and the people of Rwanda for the advancement of His Kingdom.
